Join UQ’s first year drama students as they showcase their talents in a variety of productions written in response to the exhibition Ecstasy: Baroque and Beyond. The short (10 minute) performances will be drawn from The Bacchae by Euripides.
In this text, Dionysus the god of wine, prophecy, religious ecstasy, and fertility returns to his birthplace and chaos ensues. Students will perform in the UQ Art Museum’s current exhibition Ecstasy: Baroque and Beyond.
