“UQ Art Museum is a collecting institution with a profoundly educational purpose.
Our programs link closely with curriculum areas and are enriched by our engagement with the University and external communities.”

Dr Campbell Gray
Director, UQ Art Museum

Art provokes our thinking. It encourages us to question and to challenge our place in society.

With your generous support, UQ Art Museum will become the place where ideas, scholarships and art meet and flourish – the home to a dynamic museum program that shapes the cultural climate of UQ and the community, and changes the way we all see the world.

UQ Art Museum provides a welcoming space where the campus and broader community can make art a part of their lives.

As the most visited university art museum in Australia, we make a leading contribution to intellectual and cultural life through exhibitions and public programs, including curator talks, seminars, workshops, tours, master classes and concerts.
